Short, plain-English definitions for the names, companies and terms used across the Credit Corp / Credicorp brand-split pages. For general lending terminology (APR, personal guarantee, representative example and similar), see our main lending glossary — this page covers brand and corporate-structure terms only.

Terms

Credit Corp: The wordmark used on this site (creditcorp.co.uk), spelt with a “t”. Framed as “Now Credit Corp” — a current, active brand name for Credit Corp Group Limited, not a replacement product or a new company.
Credicorp: The established wordmark used on credicorp.co.uk, spelt with an “i”. Credit Corp Group Limited’s original brand domain and still a current, co-equal sibling site to this one.
Credit Corp Group Limited: The UK private limited company (company number 17338274) that is the lender on every Credicorp Loan, Credicorp Flex and Credicorp Slice agreement, on both brand domains.
CM Beyer Limited: A related UK company in the same group as Credit Corp Group Limited, which is the lender named in your agreement.
Credicorp Pty Limited: Our related company in Australia (ACN 679 428 605), a separate legal entity serving Australian customers at credicorp.com.au. Part of the same group; not the UK lender on a UK agreement.
Credit Corp Group: The wider group portfolio site at creditcorpgroup.co.uk for the CM Beyer / Credit Corp family of companies.
Credicorp Loan: Our core UK business loan product for limited companies and LLPs. The product name is unchanged on both credicorp.co.uk and creditcorp.co.uk.
Credicorp Flex: Our revolving business credit facility — interest charged only on what is drawn. Also marketed as the Business Credit Facility.
Credicorp Slice: Our product for splitting an eligible business bill into instalments.
Lender: The regulated party providing the credit under a loan agreement. For every Credicorp product, the lender is Credit Corp Group Limited.
Servicing agent: The company that administers day-to-day account operations (statements, payment processing, customer contact) on behalf of the lender. For Credicorp accounts on this site, this is Credit Corp Group Limited.
Sibling brand domain: How we describe credicorp.co.uk and creditcorp.co.uk in relation to each other: two current, co-equal websites for one company, neither a copy nor a replacement of the other.
Body corporate: A limited company or LLP, as opposed to an individual (sole trader) or unincorporated partnership. Credicorp only lends to bodies corporate.
Rebrand: Shorthand on this site for introducing the Credit Corp wordmark alongside the existing Credicorp name. It is a brand-presentation change, not a change of lender, product or legal entity.
