How to verify you are dealing with the real Credit Corp / Credicorp

One checklist, in one place: how to confirm you are genuinely dealing with us.

How to verify you are dealing with the real Credit Corp / Credicorp

Because we now trade under two brand names on two domains, we want it to be easy — not harder — to check that a message, call or website really is us. This page pulls the checks into one place. It does not replace our individual guides on spotting a loan scam or — it summarises them into a single checklist.

The checklist

  1. 1. Check the sender address

Genuine correspondence comes from an @creditcorp.co.uk or @credicorp.co.uk address. Anything else claiming to be us is not genuine.

  2. 2. Check it references your real account

We will only ever refer to your actual application, agreement or account details — never a generic or unrelated reference number.

  3. 3. Never move the conversation to a personal chat app

We do not conduct account business over WhatsApp, Telegram or similar personal messaging apps. A request to do so is a red flag.

  4. 4. Never send a full bank password or one-time passcode

We will never ask for your full online banking password, or for a one-time passcode sent to your phone, by phone or email.

  5. 5. Verify the company on the public register

Cross-check us at any time on the Companies House register (company number 17338274) — the entity, registered office and officers are all public.

  6. 6. Report anything suspicious

Forward suspicious emails or messages to security@credicorp.co.uk without clicking any links, and tell us if you have already acted on something you now doubt.

What we will never do

We will never ask you to pay an upfront fee to release an approved loan, ask for your full banking password or a one-time passcode, or ask you to move a conversation to a personal chat app. If anyone claiming to be Credit Corp or Credicorp does any of these, it is not us — report it to security@credicorp.co.uk.
