Short-term lending for LLPs and business partnerships

A limited liability partnership has its own legal personality, separate from its members — which is exactly why Credit Corp lends to LLPs on the same terms as limited companies. No member is asked to guarantee the debt personally, and the LLP itself is the borrower.

UK Ltd or LLP only · No personal guarantee · Decisions most working days

Recognise any of these?

  • Profit is drawn down to members regularly, leaving working capital thinner than the balance sheet suggests
  • Member capital contributions or drawings are timed around the tax year, not around when a bill falls due
  • A partnership agreement sets fixed distribution dates that do not always line up with cashflow
  • VAT, PAYE or a professional indemnity renewal lands before the next member drawdown cycle

If so, a Credit Corp short-term business loan could help the LLP bridge that gap without touching individual members' personal finances.

Which product fits?

Credicorp Slice — split a single bill

For a single recurring cost — a professional indemnity renewal, a regulator or membership fee, a software licence — Credicorp Slice spreads that one bill for the LLP over 3 or 4 weekly instalments at a flat 6% fee.

  • Bills of £50–£2,000
  • Flat 6% fee — no compounding
  • 3 or 4 weekly instalments by Direct Debit
  • Settle early and we refund the unused fee pro rata

Borrowing is expensive relative to bank lending. Only borrow if the cost is less than the gap it closes. Total cost capped at 100% of principal — you will never repay more than double. There is no personal guarantee; lending is to the company.

Who can apply?

  • UK limited company or LLP (body-corporate lending only — not sole traders)
  • 6+ months trading
  • Current UK business bank account
  • Director identity check (you, not the company, as the company's authorised representative)

Common questions

Can a limited liability partnership apply for a Credit Corp business loan?
Yes. Credit Corp lends to UK LLPs on the same basis as limited companies — the LLP is the borrower, its own legal entity, and the lending sits with it rather than with any individual member.
Do individual members need to give a personal guarantee?
No. Lending is to the LLP as a body corporate. No member is asked to guarantee the debt personally, and there is no personal credit search on any member.
What proof of LLP status do you need?
The same identity and incorporation checks as a limited company — your LLP's Companies House registration, a director/designated-member identity check, and a current UK business bank account in the LLP's name.
