Short-term lending for seasonal UK businesses

Retail before Christmas, tourism over summer, harvest in agriculture, festivals and events in their season — many UK businesses earn most of their year's revenue in a short window and have to spend ahead of it. Credit Corp lends to bridge exactly that gap.

UK Ltd or LLP only · No personal guarantee · Decisions most working days

Recognise any of these?

  • Stock, staff or marketing spend has to happen weeks before peak-season revenue arrives
  • Off-season overheads (rent, insurance, core staff) continue while income is thin
  • A good season depends on getting the timing of a single big spend right
  • Last year's peak profit is already spent by the time this year's build-up costs land

A short-term loan sized to your season, repaid as trade picks up, can carry that gap without tying up capital year-round.

Borrowing is expensive relative to bank lending. Only borrow if the cost is less than the gap it closes. Total cost capped at 100% of principal — you will never repay more than double. There is no personal guarantee; lending is to the company.

Who can apply?

  • 6+ months trading

Common questions

Can a seasonal business get repeat funding each year?
Yes. There is no restriction on applying again once a previous loan is settled and the company remains eligible. Many seasonal businesses use short-term finance as a recurring part of their annual stock or staffing cycle.
Does seasonality itself affect eligibility?
No — the same criteria apply as any other applicant: a UK limited company or LLP with at least 6 months' trading history and a current UK business bank account. Seasonal revenue patterns are common and are not treated as a red flag.
How does repayment work if my income is concentrated in a few months?
You choose the term (14 to 84 days) to fit when you expect the cash to land. Many seasonal borrowers time the term to end shortly after their peak trading window, so the loan is cleared from the proceeds of the season it funded.
