Staying safe with both brand names in use

Two similar, legitimate brand names in the market can, in theory, be exploited by scammers. Here is how to stay safe.

Our new name

Fraud awareness

What is genuinely ours

  • credicorp.co.uk and creditcorp.co.uk — check the spelling carefully.
  • Emails from addresses ending @credicorp.co.uk for anything to do with your Credicorp Limited agreement.
  • Communication that never pressures you to act immediately, change payment details on the spot, or keep something secret from other people you trust.

What should make you pause

  • A domain that is close to, but not exactly, credicorp.co.uk or creditcorp.co.uk.
  • A request to move a payment, change your bank details, or make an urgent payment to "correct" the brand change.
  • Any suggestion that you must act today because the brand or company is closing.

How to verify, quickly

Do not use a link or phone number from the message itself. Go directly to credicorp.co.uk or creditcorp.co.uk, or use the contact details already on this site, and ask us to confirm. See is creditcorp.co.uk really us? for a step-by-step check.

General fraud-awareness reading
