What this page is
Credit Corp Group Limited is an independent UK direct lender of short-term business credit. This is a city guide for Leeds: how we lend to limited companies and LLPs trading in and around the city, the kinds of cash-flow timing gaps we see across the local economy, and which product tends to fit. We are the lender, not a broker or a marketplace, and we lend our own funds.
We lend to the company itself. There is no personal guarantee, and your directors do not take on personal liability for the borrowing. We do not lend to consumers or to sole traders. Decisions are AI-assisted and typically confirmed within an hour during working hours, with same-day funding once you accept the offer.
We do not lend against a postcode, and there is no Leeds-only product or local scheme — the assessment and the terms are identical wherever in the UK your company trades. What a Leeds base usually means in practice is a particular cash-flow shape, and this page explains how a short-term business loan fits it.
A note on who we are: Credit Corp Group Limited is registered in England & Wales, Company No. 17338274, ICO registration ZC189608. We lend to UK limited companies and LLPs, not to individuals or sole traders. This lending is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Leeds businesses we see
Leeds carries one of the broadest business bases outside London. The city has grown on the back of a large financial and professional-services sector — banking, accountancy, law, and the agencies and digital firms clustered around the centre — alongside the shops and independents around the city centre and Kirkgate Market, a busy hospitality and events scene, and manufacturing and distribution out towards the industrial edges of the city and the wider West Yorkshire belt.
Whatever the trade, the timing problem is the same one we see everywhere: the money goes out before it comes in. Typical short-term needs across Leeds companies:
- A retailer stocking up before a peak — buying in ahead of a busy trading stretch, before those takings reach the account.
- A hospitality business bridging a seasonal dip — covering rent, wages and suppliers through a quiet post-Christmas or mid-summer lull while fixed costs run on.
- A professional-services firm fronting a project — paying staff, freelancers or licences before a client invoice is settled on long terms.
- A manufacturer buying materials before a contract pays — funding a production run or stock order weeks before the finished-goods invoice clears.
- An urgent repair or replacement — a piece of equipment failing and needing fixing today, before the income it supports arrives.
- One specific bill to spread — a single wholesale order, equipment service or supplier invoice you would rather smooth than pay in one hit.
We have published an anonymised, illustrative customer story about exactly this: a limited-company cafe in a residential corner of Leeds that used a small, short-term loan to get through a quiet February before its busy spring season, then repaid it on schedule. It is a good, honest read for any Leeds director weighing whether short-term borrowing is the right call for a specific, short-lived gap.
We are a working-capital lender for the short term: borrow a defined amount for a defined period — typically matched to when a known payment clears — then be done. We are not a substitute for long-term funding or for proper working capital.
How Credit Corp fits a Leeds business
The matching product depends on the shape of the need:
- Business Loan — a short-term, unsecured loan: one fixed amount over one fixed, short term, then done. Best when you know the sum and the period — bridging a seasonal dip, fronting a project, or buying stock for a specific peak. No revolving trap, known total cost. /business-loans/
- Credicorp Flex — a revolving credit facility you can draw, repay and redraw against a limit. Best for recurring, hard-to-predict gaps across back-to-back jobs or buying cycles, without reapplying each time. /business-credit-facility/
- Credicorp Slice — spread the cost of one specific bill — a wholesale order, an equipment service, a supplier invoice — over a few instalments at a single flat fee, with no interest compounding. Best for a known, dated outgoing you want to smooth. /credicorp-slice/
See them side by side with Compare products, or model a scenario with the Money tools and calculator. The Leeds page itself carries an interactive calculator pre-set to a typical local scenario.
For the exact loan and facility sizes, the term in days, the daily interest rate, the establishment fee, the flat Slice fee and the total-cost cap, see the machine-readable references at /ai.md and /llms-full.txt, which are generated from the live pricing source. We keep the figures in one place so there is a single source of truth, and do not restate them here.
How a decision is made
- Apply online — the application takes around ten minutes; have your company registration number and business bank details to hand. /apply/
- Open banking — with your permission, we review your business bank data to understand real trading cash flow — the seasonal peaks and gaps a single credit score misses.
- AI-assisted assessment — we weigh affordability, the company's trading pattern and the purpose of the funding. The decisioning logic itself is proprietary and not published.
- Decision — usually within an hour during working hours. Nothing is binding until you have read the offer terms and accepted them.
- Funding — same-day once you accept.
Eligibility
- A UK-registered limited company or LLP (we lend to the body corporate, not to sole traders or individuals).
- The business has been trading for at least 6 months.
- A UK business bank account.
- No personal guarantee required from directors — the obligation is the company's.
Responsible borrowing
Short-term business borrowing is expensive relative to bank lending. It earns its place only when it solves a specific, short-lived problem and the company can clearly afford to repay it from its own cash flow. The total cost of credit is capped, you never repay more than double what you borrow, interest is simple and settling early reduces the cost. If your need is not clear-cut, the most useful thing we can do is tell you so.
