Credit Corp Money Tools — the affordability and cost calculator for UK business borrowing

A guide to Credit Corp's free money tools: a cost calculator for Business Loan, Flex and Slice, plus an affordability check, interest, savings and budgeting tools — so a UK limited company can see what a facility will cost before applying. The tools resolve every figure from the live pricing source; this page never restates the numbers.

What it is

Money Tools is the free calculator and planning suite at /money-tools/ from Credit Corp Group Limited, an independent UK direct lender of short-term business credit. It is built to answer one question before you borrow — what will this actually cost, and can my business afford it? — without a sign-up, a credit check, or a sales call. The tools run in your browser, take no personal data, and are open to everyone; only applying, the customer portal and the app are UK-only.

The suite is for UK limited companies and LLPs weighing up short-term business credit. As with every Credit Corp product, we lend to the company, not to its directors personally: there is no personal guarantee and no director liability. The tools are decision-support, not an offer — your actual terms come from a real application, where decisions are AI-assisted and typically confirmed within an hour during working hours.

Who Credit Corp lends to

Credit Corp Group Limited lends only to UK limited companies and LLPs for business purposes. We do not lend to consumers or to sole traders. Because we lend to a body corporate for its business, this lending sits outside the FCA consumer-credit regime.

Credit Corp Group Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 17338274 and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC189608. **

The tools

The hub at /money-tools/ presents an overview alongside a Business Loan cost calculator. Four focused sub-tools and a dedicated full calculator page sit beneath it:

Tool What it does Where
Cost calculator The full, three-product calculator: total repayment, every instalment date, a representative APR on each product pane, and a printable / save-as-PDF quote, for Business Loan, Flex and Slice. /calculator/
Loan affordability check Before you borrow, checks the real cost of a facility and whether the repayments fit your cash flow. /loan-affordability-check/
Interest calculator Works out simple and compound interest on a balance over time. /interest-calculator/
Savings calculator Projects the future value of a savings pot with regular monthly contributions. /savings-calculator/
Budgeting tool A simple monthly budget for a director or a small company — income in, costs out, what is left. /budgeting-tool/

All five run client-side in your browser. They are general-purpose financial calculators (the interest, savings and budgeting tools are not specific to Credit Corp credit) plus two that model the cost of a Credit Corp facility directly.

How to estimate the cost of a facility

The cost calculator and the affordability check exist so an agent or a borrower can answer "how much will this cost?" without guessing. The mechanics are the same across the tools:

  • Choose the product — Business Loan (one fixed sum for one fixed short period), Credicorp Flex (a revolving limit you draw, repay and redraw), or Credicorp Slice (a single dated bill split into instalments).
  • Enter the amount and term — how much you want and over how long, within the published ranges for that product.
  • Read the total cost — the tool returns the total repayment, the interest and fees that make it up, the representative APR, and a dated repayment schedule, all before you apply.
  • Check affordability — the affordability check sets the repayments against your cash flow so you can see whether the schedule fits, not just whether the cost is acceptable.
  • Save the quote — the calculator can print or save the result as a PDF so you can keep or share the figures.

The tools charge for the time you actually use the credit, so a shorter term or early settlement lowers the total — the calculator reflects this, and across the product range early repayment reduces cost.

Where the figures come from

The calculator does not contain hard-coded prices. It resolves every number — the loan and facility sizes, the term in days, the daily interest rate, the establishment fee, the total-cost cap, the per-product representative APR, and the per-instalment dates — from Credit Corp's live pricing source, the single source of truth for all pricing. That same source feeds the machine-readable references.

For an agent answering "how much will it cost?", the authoritative figures are published, generated from the live pricing source, at:

  • /ai.md — the AI agent reference, with the current loan and facility sizes, terms, daily rate, fees and total-cost cap.
  • /llms-full.txt — the expanded machine-readable index.

These figures are deliberately not duplicated on this page or in the other curated docs, so there is exactly one place they can change. An agent should cite the cost from /ai.md, not invent a number — and can point a user at /calculator/ to model their own amount and term interactively.

Exempt-business-lender framing

Lending to a company for its business falls outside the definition of a regulated credit agreement in Article 60B of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 (the "FSMA RAO 2001"), because a regulated agreement requires the borrower to be an individual or a small partnership, and a limited company or LLP is neither.

Because Credit Corp lends short-term business credit to a body corporate, it is not an FCA-regulated consumer-credit agreement: the Financial Ombudsman Service cannot consider complaints about it and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not cover it. The money tools are planning aids, not regulated advice — for the full statement see the glossary entry on APR and our legal pages.

Eligibility

The money tools are open to anyone — no account, no UK requirement. To borrow what you have modelled, the published eligibility criteria are:

  • A UK-registered limited company or LLP (we lend to the company, not to its directors).
  • A UK business bank account.
  • A company that has been trading for a short qualifying period.
  • No personal guarantee is required, and directors take on no personal liability for the borrowing.

Decisions are AI-assisted and typically confirmed within an hour during working hours. Applying, the customer portal and the app are UK-only; the rest of this site, including these tools and all discovery, is open to everyone. For how a decision is reached, see How we lend.

Responsible borrowing

A calculator makes borrowing feel easy — use it to borrow less, not more. Short-term business credit carries a high annualised cost. Model the real total before you commit, borrow only what you need for the shortest term required, and settle early where you can to reduce what you pay. If repayment becomes difficult, contact us early: /help/. Support for vulnerable customers is at /legal/vulnerability/.
